Here you'll find some graphic design work from past jobs and some just-for-fun stuff I did to mix things up. And absolutely no AI slop*.
Now, please enjoy. (Or don't. I'm not the boss of you.)

In-house/Freelance
Created for various products/services. I built the logos with Illustrator and also helped with conceptualizing and/or refining the look.
(Contains mentions of AI, but AI was NOT used in the creation of these designs. For more on that, please read my AI disclaimer.)

Some of my favourite designs from a recent LinkedIn campaign targeting various industries for custom eLearning work.
A series of carousel ads that ran on LinkedIn, showcasing successful company case studies.
A set of ads I created for the digital copy of the Guide that ran in an email newsletter.
A set of ads for Adroll I created for a product relaunch in 2019.

From a few years ago and there are things I would change, but I still generally like how this stuff turned out. :)

In-house/Freelance
Presentations created for webinars or client demos.
Templates created for items that are meant for viewing as a PDF, not necessarily as a presentation.
(The case study template was based on an existing, older case study PDF layout, but the update of these never came to pass.)

A few of my personal favourite pages from a first-draft mockup for a recent site redesign.
(This contains mentions of AI, but AI was NOT used in the creation of these designs. For more on that, please read my AI disclaimer.)

Some fake brands I created to add some variety of subject matter to this portfolio. And just to have some fun.
Written content and design by me. Stock images are from Unsplash.
Just for fun
Branding elements for a fake small-size pickling company.
(I don't even like pickles...)
Presentation slides
Just for fun
Branding elements for a fake tree repair company.
(I wanted to create a simple design for nature-inspired brand. My brain settled on a "tree repair" company. We may never know why.)
Presentation slides
Just for fun
Branding elements for a fake portable cassette and CD player company.
(I'm shamelessly nostalgic.)
Presentation slides
In-house/Freelance
A 70-page guide that was created over the summer of 2021, intended for distribution via snail mail and other in-person events.
In-house/Freelance
A vector map I created for the VTGA that were to be made available at the various warm up shelters and other locations around the trails. Designed to fit on a standard sized 8.5x11 inch paper.
(I also vectorized their logo.)

A vectorized maps (approx. 3 ft x 2 ft) of The Forks that were on display for festival goers.
art & cons
A few of my personal favourite pieces I've created for selling at conventions or just for fun. And again, there is absolutely no AI slop*.

Hello.
I'm Ethan, a graphic designer that has been working as an in-house designer for about 10 years (2016-2026).
I also had a brief 2-and-a-bit year stint as the Graphic Design Coordinator at Pride Winnipeg in (2015-2017ish).
And once again, because I feel like I can never stress it enough, everything seen in this portfolio was created by me without "assistance" from AI*.
